JOURNELL, Lena 95 of Urbana, passed away Friday, March 9, 2007 at Mary Routan 
Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilson T. Journell, her 
daughter Sue Chamberlain; parents Perry L. Sr and Pearl (nee Robinson) 
Strickland; brothers George and Woodrow Strickland; sisters Ruth Byram and 
Betty Hill. She is survived by her son Thomas and wife Carol Journell of Grove 
City; son-in-law Kenneth Chamberlain of Westville; seven grandchildren; eight 
great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; brother Perry L. Jr. and 
wife Jean of Springfield; sister Raymajean Hall of Winter Park, Florida; 
sisters-in-law Mary Strickland of Franklin, Indiana and Florence Strickland of 
Urbana, and a host of other relatives and friends. Lena was a 1929 graduate of 
Rosewood High School. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she 
taught Sunday School for many years. She was also a 4-H Advisor. Lena was a 
loving mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and 
loved her. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at St 
Paul Lutheran Church, 3930 New Carlisle Pike, Springfield, Ohio, with Pastor 
Richard McDaniel officiating. Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 
time of service. Interment at Rosedale Cemetery. In memory of Lena, 
contributions may be made to St Paul Lutheran Church. 3930 New Carlisle Pike,
