The Urbana Daily Citizen abstract
E. Eileen Kindell, age 86, of Christiansburg, passed away at 11 a.m. on 
Tuesday, April 5, 2011 in the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. 

Born on September 25, 1924 in Champaign County, Eileen was a daughter of the 
late John W. and Mary E. (Nance) Wilson. 

She married Richard Junior Kindell on March 7, 1942 and he preceded her in 
death on September 18, 1997. 

Eileen is survived by five sons, and one daughter: Jerry (Sandy) Kindell of 
Alamogordo, NM, Donny (Susie) Kindell of Galion, Ohio, William Kindell of 
Troy, John (Marla) Kindell of Troy, David Kindell of Christiansburg and Bonnie 
E. Young of West Carrollton, Ohio. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 
28 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and 
nephews. 

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two 
brothers, Frank and Emmet Wilson, one great grandson, Talon Shay Brown, and a 
son-in-law James Strickler I. 

Eileen was a member of the Odd Fellows, Christiansburg and on the Champaign 
County Election Board. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2011 
at noon in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield St, St. Paris, 
Ohio 43072 with Pastor Mark Atterholt of the Christiansburg United Methodist 
Church presiding. Burial will follow in the Upper Honey Creek Cemetery, S. Elm 
Tree Road, St. Paris
