Funeral Home
KINNAMON, Allen L. 59, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord on Saturday 
April 14, 2007 in Community Hospital. Mr. Kinnamon proudly served our country 
in the Air Force and fought in the Vietnam War. He also attended the Salvation 
Army Church in Springfield where he met many nice people. Mr. Kinnamon will be 
remembered by those who loved him dearly as an outspoken and straight-forward 
man with a kind and loving heart. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his 
children and grandchildren, especially at Christmas time, when he seemed to 
become a child himself. Allen enjoyed watching Ohio State football and 
spending time in nature while hunting and fishing. He leaves to cherish his 
memory his loving wife, Alta (Hill) Kinnamon, whom he married on October 9, 
1966; children, Fayleen (Luke) Thomas, Tracy (Bryant) O'Neal, Kathryn 
Kinnamon, and a son, Jeremy Kinnamon; grandchildren, Donald Thomas, Chase and 
Caitlin O'Neal; brothers and sisters, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, 
cousins, and treasured friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. 
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the JONES- KENNEY-
ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will he held one hour prior to the funeral 
ceremony. Pastor Frank Kampel will officiate. Burial will follow in Terre 
Haute Cemetery
