Lensman, age 92, of St. Paris passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013, in the Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. Born on September 26, 1920, in Napoleon, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late William and Maude (Powers) Funchion. She married Donald Lensman on April 1, 1939, and he preceded her in death on August 10, 1985. Together they raised four sons, Donald Roger (Vonnie) Lensman Jr. of Hartville, Charles Everett (Angela) Lensman of Bellefontaine, Paul Edward (Linda) Lensman and Kenneth Wayne (Mindy) Lensman, both of St. Paris. She was a loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren, Lisa, Todd, Nicole, Amy, Damion, April, Gabriel, Bridget, Sonny, Mary, Mark, Meggi, Eric, Chad and Cody, and 14 great- grandchildren, Sidney, Morgan, Kelsey, Todd Jr., Madison, Emmanuel, Jabari, Isaiah, Trinity, Brayden, Claire, Drake, Cade and Ayla. Florence is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Margaret Roberts of London and Jo Funchion of Napoleon, many nieces and nephews, special friends and neighbors Wanda Smail and Shirley Clyburn and close nephew Rob (Kitty) Lensman. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by five brothers, Clarence, Lawrence, John, William and Kenneth Funchion, and two sisters, Leona Barton and Madonna Tonjes. Florence was a 1938 graduate of Napoleon High School. She was a member of the St. Paris United Methodist Church and loved to read, play bingo and do crossword puzzles. She worked at Sears in Springfield for 20 years before retiring. The family would like to say a special thank you to her loving caregivers, Tammy, Rachel, Sherrie and Dawn. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. in the Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield St., St. Paris, with Pastor Dave Kepple of the St. Paris United Methodist Church presiding. Burial will follow in the Rosedale Cemetery, N. St. Rt. 235, St. Paris, Ohio. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark, Eric, Chad, Cody and Rob Lensman, Kelly Bishop, Carter Jenkins and Todd Dallas and honorary pallbearer Glen Smail. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 1, 2013, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Donations may be made to St. Paris United Methodist Church, P.O.
