Funeral Home-abstract
Milton Isaac Lewis, 77, of St. Paris, passed away at 2:55 a.m. on Sunday, 
Sept. 16, 2012, in Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. Born on June 9, 1935, in St. 
Paris, Milton was the son of the late Jacob Warren and Pearl Ruby (Urban) 
Lewis. He married Wilma A. Sloan on Aug. 16, 1963, and she survives. 

Milt was a 1953 graduate of Johnson-St. Paris High School and a 1957 graduate 
of Wilmington College where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Education. He 
taught school and coached in the Graham Schools for 35 years where he started 
the OWE and golf programs. He also coached golf at Wittenberg University in 
Springfield for a year.

In 1995 he became the coordinator for the Junior Achievement program in 
Champaign County. Milton was a member of the St. Paris United Methodist Church 
where he sang tenor in the church choir. He was also a member of the 
Barbership Harmony Society, Miami-Shelby Chapter. Milton was active in his 
community as a member of the St. Paris Lions Club, Knights of Pythias, St. 
Paris Lodge 344, Urbana Moose Lodge 1215, The Grand Chapter of Royal Arch 
Masons of Ohio, Grand Council Royal and Select Masons of Ohio, The Grand 
Encampment of Knights of Templar, and Antioch Shriners of Dayton.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the St. Paris United 
Methodist Church, corner of Church and Walnut Streets, St. Paris with Pastor 
Dave Kepple presiding. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Paris.
