Martha Jane Lewis, 81, Urbana, died June 8, 2001, at 4:20 a.m. in Heartland of 
Urbana. She was born Feb. 22, 1920, in Montgomery County, Ohio, to the late 
Everett and Hazel (Frankenburg) Bradfield. Survivors include a grandson, Tim 
(Henrietta) Pond of Bellefontaine; granddaughter, Diana Wilkins of Urbana; 
great-grandchildren, Nicki Skinner, Adam Skinner, Kara Wilkins, all of Urbana, 
Amanda Pond of Bellefontaine, and Melanie (Jeff) Barrett of LaRue, Ohio; 
brother, Bob Bradfield of Dayton; sister, Betty Wick of Dayton, son-in-law, 
Kenny Pond of Medway. She was preceded in death by daughter, Patricia Pond; 
brothers Lester and Brad Bradfield; sisters, Mildred Hammond and Dodie Abram; 
and special friend, Harry H. Lewis. She was formerly employed by the Sunshine 
Biscuit Company of Dayton. Funeral services will be conducted at RICHESON-
WICKHAM AND ATKINS Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield Street, St. Paris, Monday, 
June 11, at 2 p.m. by Dr. James Van Zile of the St. Paris First Baptist 
Church. Interment will be in Myrtle Tree Cemetery, St. Paris. Visitation will 
be held Monday, June 11, from noon to 2 p.m. in the funeral home....
