Loudenback, 75, of Urbana, died at 1:55 P.M. Wednesday, July 29, 2009 in her residence. She was born July 28, 1934, in Springfield, a daughter of Carl and Thelma (Rainey) Werner. Norma was a member of Westville United Methodist Church, a graduate of Westville High School class of 1952. She had worked for the Graham School District, the Ohio Pythian Home and retired from Rosemary's Hallmark Shop. Norma helped on the family dairy farm and volunteered at Lawnview Industries and Urbana Caring Kitchen. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening, Silver Sneakers, and was known in the family and community as "The Brick Lady" because she collected bricks from destroyed buildings to build sidewalks and garden borders. Survivors include her husband, David Loudenback, children, Mark Loudenback and his wife Susan of Urbana, Gregg Loudenback and his wife Lisa of Urbana, Carla Brown and her husband Chris of Urbana, Kurt Loudenback and his wife Valerie of Sioux Falls, SD, and Eric Loudenback and his wife Nikki of Ft. Loramie, OH, grandchildren, Ben Loudenback and his wife Adrianne, Ross Loudenback and his wife Janelle, Josh Loudenback and his wife Julie, Heather Wonn and her husband Eric, Cody Russell serving in the US Army stationed in South Korea, Erin Russell, Gary Brown, Daniel Loudenback, Andrea Loudenback, Grant Loudenback, Brandon Loudenback, serving in the US Marines, stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA, Cory Loudenback, serving in the US Marines, stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC, and Jada Gaier, 8 great grandchildren, sister, Shirley Bodey of Urbana and brother, Phil Werner of Easton, PA. The family will receive friends 2:00 - 6:00 P.M. Sunday, August 2, 2009 in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main Street, Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 3, 2009 in the Westville United Methodist Church, 76 N. State Route 560, Westville, OH, with Rev. Dr. Peter Bellini officiating. Burial will follow in Nettle Creek Cemetery.
