Box 465, St. Paris, Ohio, died at 5 a.m., Sunday, May 27, 2001, in her residence. She was born Sept. 6, 1918, in Jackson Township, Champaign County, Ohio, to Charles "Bob" Harrison Jordan and Flosse Leyetta (Glick) Jordan, both deceased. A 1936 graduate of Jackson High School, St. Paris, she retired in 1982 from Grimes Manufacturing Company (now Honeywell), in Urbana. She was a member of the St. Paris United Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons, Harold Wayne (Joyce) Lyons, of Edgewater, Fla., Howard William "Howdy" (Sandy) Lyons, of New Carlisle, and David Lyons, of St. Paris; five grandchildren, John (Marcia) Lyons, of Haddam, Conn., Joe (Lynn) Lyons, of Newport, N.C., Julie (Jeff) Chislock, of West Palm Beach, Fla., Kelly (John) Cash, of New Carlisle, and Terry (Angela) Lyons, of Huber Heights; five great-grandchildren, Gina and Rachel Lyons, of Newport, N.C., Abbey and Samantha Cash, of New Carlisle, and Kateland Lyons, of Troy; four sisters, Mary Reese, of Christiansburg, and Margaret Gladman, Joan Strong and Goldie Sells, of St. Paris. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lyons, who she married on March 12, 1938, and who died on Sept. 24, 1999; one son, Teddy Lyons; and two brothers, James and Robert Jordan. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2001, in the St. Paris United Methodist Church, corner of Church and Walnut streets, in St. Paris, with Pastor Tom Bolton officiating. Burial will be in Myrtle Tree Cemetery, St. Paris. Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Hospice, 1343 N. Fountain Blvd., Springfield, Ohio 45504.
