The Urbana Daily Citizen
La Juana McDaniel passed away into eternity on March 1, 2009, in Mercy McAuley 
Center, Urbana. 

She was born March 30, 1919, in Slaton, TX the daughter of Fred and Vera Walp.

She was a member of the Concord United Methodist Church.

Survivors include three sons, eight grandchildren, nineteen great 
grandchildren, 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alden McDaniel on December 27, 1980, 
two sisters, June McClure and Geraldine Wade and a brother, Kaylor Walp.

The family is being served by the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Urbana where 
the services will be held at convenience of the family.
