The Urbana Daily Citizen-abstract
James F. Moffitt, 77, of North Carolina, formerly of Urbana, passed away 
Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006 in Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City, N.C. 

He was born Sept. 10, 1929 the son of James F. and Hazel (Bosler) Moffitt.
James served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He 
was also a Design Engineer for Monsanto for 28 years. 

He was a member of the Concord Church and the St. Paris VFW. He loved spending 
time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jeannine S. Moffitt;
He is preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Kenneth, Ronnie 
and Rod Moffitt.

Burial will follow at Concord Cemetery, Urbana.
