Regina was born in Springfield on September 2, 1927, the daughter of Lawrence and Alma Detrick. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish in Springfield and Epiphany Cathedral Catholic Church in Venice, Florida. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and loved playing bingo, dancing, and playing the piano. She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. "Jimmy" Moorman and a sister, Mary Alma Detrick. Survivors include four children and spouses, Linda and Michael Burns of Fort Myers, Florida, Mike and Beth Moorman of Springfield, Bonnie and Judo Judy, Nokomis, Florida and Mary Kay Massia of Venice, Florida; nine grandchildren and spouses, Shelley and Tim Ludden, Laura and Matt Sederquist all of Cape Coral, Florida, Heidi and Doug Short, Jamie and Carrie Moorman all of Springfield, Jude and Chandy Judy of Potomic Falls, Virginia, Ryan Judy of Springfield, Justin Judy of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Jenna Judy of Miamisburg, Ohio and Nicole and Mike Aston of Springfield; thirteen great grandchildren; three sisters and spouses, Margaret and Marion Tyree, of Springfield, Patricia and Robert Bishop of Las Vegas, Nevada and Rosemary and Bruce Born of Springfield; three brothers-in-law and spouse, Paul "Shorty" Moorman, Jesse "Jake" and Shirley Moorman all of Springfield, and Wallace Moorman of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Alice Whitacre and Peggy Green both of Springfield and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 12, 2007 in CONROY FUNERAL HOME on East High Street in Springfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Dennis Caylor officiating.
