Opal Louise Morgan, 77, of Troy, passed away at 2 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1,2010, at 
the Covington Care Center, Covington.
She was born Oct. 20, 1932, in Adams County, to the late Jack Taylor and 
Amanda (Cupps) Taylor. Her husband of 61 years, Robert A. "Bob" Morgan, 
survives.
Other survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd M. "Butch" and 
Tern Morgan and Gary L. and Debbie Morgan, all of Troy; one daughter and son-
in-law, Deborah E. and Jack Brown of Sidney; grandchildren, Kimberly and Bill 
Innes, Tony and Andrea Morgan, Bryan Morgan, Chad Morgan, Amy Morgan and 
fiance, Lome Buskirk, Chad and Amanda Palsgrove,
Jennifer and Brenton Line, Jeremy and Misti Landrey, Justin Landrey, Jayme and 
Kim Thuma, and Dina Thuma; and 22 great-grandchildren
In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death 
by her seven brothers, George, Earl, Charles, Elija, Harry, Floyd, and Morris; 
and four sisters, Elizabeth, Nettie, Rosella, and Gladys.
She was a 1963 graduate of Troy High School. She was a payroll clerk for 
Hobart Corp., worked in advertising at Hobart Cabinet and waitressed at Dog 
House and Empire.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Baird Funeral Home, 
Troy, with the Rev. Thomas A. Baugh Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at 
Evergreen Cemetery, St. Paris.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home
