Helen G. Mulroney, 84 of Christiansburg and formerly of St. Paris, passed away 
at 1:45 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, 2006 in Mercy Medical Center, Springfield. 

She was born on Oct. 2, 1921 in Flemingsburg, Ky., the daughter of Clifton and 
Emma (Hawes) Keal. She married Wilson Russell Mulroney on Jan. 18, 1940 and he 
preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 2004. 

Helen was a homemaker and a mother to six children. She was also a grandmother 
to 16 grandchildren. 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-
grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Marjorie Harrison of Troy 
and Emma Maxine Johnson of Beavercreek. 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a 
daughter, Wanda Mulroney Gilliam; a son, Wendell Mulroney; three grandsons, 
Johnny Evans, Steve Perry and Dennis Mulroney; two brothers and three sisters. 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006 at 11 a.m. in the 
Atkins-Shively Funeral Home, 216 S. Springfield St., St. Paris with Pastor Jim 
Fannin of the Christian Worship Center presiding. Burial will follow in Upper 
Honey Creek Cemetery, S. Elm Tree Road near Christiansburg.
