NICHOLS, LEON A. 69, of Christiansburg, Ohio passed away peacefully on Friday, 
March 11, 2005 in his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born in 
Springfield, Ohio on December 13, 1935, the son of the late Ted and Bess 
(Lute) Nichols. Mr. Nichols retired in 2001 as the owner-operator of L and N 
Hauling Company, Christiansburg. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist 
Church and the Elm Valley Fishing Club, both of New Carlisle. In addition to 
his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Mae Nichols; and 
one sister, Mary Lanum. Leon loved his family and friends, had a great passion 
for fishing and the outdoors. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and 
never forgotten. There will be visitation. Graveside services will be held on 
Tuesday, March 15, 2005, 1 p.m. at the Upper Honey Creek Cemetery, south Elm 
Tree Road, near Christiansburg with the Reverends Eugene McAfee and Eddie 
McCoy officiating
