Funeral Hone
James W. Organ, 17, of Urbana died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2000, as the result of an 
automobile accident.
He was a junior at Graham High School where he was in the marching band and 4-
H. He was an active member of FFA and last week was accepted for the FFA 
national convention in Louisville, Ky. He worked with his family on the Organ 
family farm and for the Maurice dairy farm where he helped with milking the 
cows. He was an active member of Covenant Fellowship Church of West Liberty 
and had a good faith of his own. He volunteered once a month at Our Daily 
Bread in Bellefontaine and was a member of the Concord Clove Leaf Squares.
He was born May 22, 1983, in Springfield and is survived by his parents, 
Frederick W. and Teresa S. Rucker Organ of Urbana; a brother, Paul J. Organ of 
Urbana; paternal grandparents, Frederick V. and Marilyn Organ of Urbana; 
paternal great-grandmother, Hazel F. Newman of Marysville; maternal 
grandparents, Carl and Shirley Rucker of Marysville; aunts and uncles, 
Elizabeth and Jerry Carter of Urbana, John and Kim Organ of St. Paris, Ronald 
and Kum-NyaNam Rucker of Lincoln, Neb., Carl Jr. and Julie Wagner Rucker of 
Columbus; and cousins, Jennifer Lynn Organ and Brian Michael Organ of St. 
Paris and Vincent Spiert, a student at Xavier University.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Westville United 
Methodist Church. The Revs. Donovan Zook and Frank James will officiate and 
burial will be at the Concord Cemetery
