Mildred I. Owens, 95, of 705 Fulton St., passed away Sunday, June 11, 2006, at 
2:50 a.m. at The Pavilion.

She was born on July 23, 1910, in Rosewood, the daughter of the late Ernest 
and Zalia (Neal) Buroker. She married Kenneth Johnson in 1945, and he passed 
away in 1960. On November 23, 1965, she married Logan L. Owens and he passed 
away in 1979.

Mrs. Owens attended the Pasco United Methodist Church and the Ladies Aide, and 
was a member of the Sidney Eagles Ladies Auxillary.

She was a retired coil winder at Ledex Corp. in Vandalia and retired in 1979.

Burial will be at Concord Cemetery in Urbana.
