old scrap obit./ owned by Dortha Maxine Kent passed on to Dwight and Belinda Kent
Obituary
In a home near Pharisburg, Union Co. Ohio, where Benoni and Mary L. Hildreth 
were living, there born a son, Sept. 17, 1866 whom was named William Preston 
Hildreth. 59 years 4 months 9 days.He lived on this earth , leaving suddenly 
on January 26, 1926. On Sept. 28, 1889  he took Adell M. Case as bride and 
partner for life. This union was blessed with 5 children, Sons Harry and Mac 
from Bellefontaine, and three daughters Mrs. Hazel Kent of Mingo;Mrs. Helen 
Strayer of near Zanesfield;Wilda home in Lewistown. Besides his wife and 
children he leaves 9 grand children, also one sister Mrs. William McDonald, of 
Bellefontaine to mourn his departure. The last 13 years he had lived in Logan 
Co. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband and a kind 
companionable father and by the neighbors as a jovial man and a helpful friend.
 I will not say, I can not say he is dead. He is just away. With a cheery 
smile and a wave of a hand, he has wondered into another land. Sleep on 
beloved, Sleep and take thy rest, Lay down they head upon thy Saviors breast. 
We loved thee well, But Jeasus loved thee best.Good night beloved Good night
 The Rev. Mr. Foltz must have performed the ceremony, in that after the obit, 
is a note of thanks for flowers.

Additional Comments:
This was passed on from Dortha Maxine Kent. whom was a grand child of William 
Preston Hildreth. It was passed on to Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Kent  he being the  
newphew of Maxine.
