She was born on May 4, 1919, in Champaign County, the daughter of the late Pearl and Nellie (Neese) Heaston. She married Charles Eugene "Bud" Parrott on Nov. 19, 1938, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 2005. A son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie and Linda Parrott of Troy survive Mrs. Parrott. She also is survived by two granddaughters, Cathy Jo Yohe of New Kensington, Pa. and Sherri Anderson of Charleston, S.C.; two stepgranddaughters, Lee Anne (Richard) Sloan of Troy and Lisa Springer of Dayton; two great-grandchildren, Jessica and Nicholas Yohe of New Kensington, Pa.; two step great-grandchildren, Lindsay Sloan of Dayton and Maurice Hills of Huber Heights; one stepgreat-great-grandson, Benjamin Fraley; A sister-in- law, Eleanor Heaston of Urbana, a son-in-law, David Anderson of Lower Burrell, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Thelma was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Lou Anderson; a brother, Ralph Heaston; and one stepgreat- grandchild, Joshua Fleming. Thelma was a member of the Grafton United Methodist Church, St. Paris. She was a 1937 graduate of Christiansuburg-Jackson School, where she also served as a cook. She retired from Allen-A in Piqua. Graveside funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday in the Terre Haute Cemetery, Terre Haute, Ohio. The Rev.
