St. Paris-Mrs Effie (Belle) Pence, 90, formerly of 126 E Ward, Urbana died in 
the Champaign County Nursing Home at 9:30 am Sunday where she had been a 
patient three years.
She was born in Concord Twp July 30, 1881, the daughter of Elijah and Matilda 
Campbell Jenkins. Her husband, Clarence died in 1935.
Surviving are a son, Harry W of St. Paris, a grandchild, Mrs. George(Ruby) 
Schubert of Westonville; three great grandchildren, a brother Grover Jenkisn 
and a sister, Mrs Harley(Dolly) Diehl both of Urbana.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 pm Thursday in the Richeson-Wickham Funeral 
Home by the Rev Marvin Dowson.  Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery.
