Jacob POORMAN, one of the Johnson township's best known citizens, died at his 
home northwest of St. Paris last Saturday. Mr. POORMAN was 99 years of age and 
spent a large portion of his life in and about in St. Paris. He was well known 
in Tremont City and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. The funeral 
was held Monday afternoon from the Lutheran church in St. Paris. The interment 
was made at Spring Grove cemetery
