She was born Jan. 15, 1917, a daughter of the late Byron and Cecil Foster Warren. She also was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Prickett; her son, Richard E. Prickett; and brothers, Foster and George Warren. Survivors include a daughter, Joyce (Jerrel) Dunham of Urbana; daughter-in- law, Janet Prickett of Bellefontaine; grandchildren, Jerry Dunham Jr., Jeff (Lisa) Dunham, Jennifer (Greg) Young, Lori Dunham, Christopher (Linda) Prickett, Cheri (Brian) Schroeder, Keith (Janet) Prickett and Matt Prickett; 17 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Voneva Merritt of North Hampton, Laura Heidron of Florida and Catherine (Russell) Miller of Russells Point; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jenny enjoyed swimming, reading, putting together puzzles and making and collecting frogs. She also loved her dogs, Mac and Toby. She was an avid bowler and a member of the North Mothers Club. Jenny was a volunteer with her church and the Meals-on-Wheels program. A strong determined Christian woman, she cared about her church, family, friends and anyone in need. The 95 years God lent her to us was spent trying to be a good person with Christian morals, who did the best she knew how to do. She achieved her goal and her family and friends are blessed by all that she did. She left here for a better place, but she also left this place better for having known her. Pastor Cliff Kissinger officiates a funeral at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Vernon Funeral Home, Urbana, where visitation is two hours prior. Burial is in Oakdale Cemetery, Urbana.
