Darrell E. Rayburn, age 63, of St. Paris passed away at 2:50 a.m. on Monday, 
March 25, 2013, in his residence. 

Born on July 12, 1949, Darrell was a son of the late Robert and Mable 
(Bollinger) Rayburn.

In addition to his parents he was preceded by a brother, Dean Rayburn, in 1974.

Darrell married Patricia Krebehenne on November 30, 1974. 

Together they raised two daughters: Dawn (Shawn) Truesdale of Powell, Ohio, and 
Tina (Nate) Garrison of Marysville, Ohio. He was a loving grandfather to four 
grandchildren: Faith, Morgan, Jacob and Gavin. He is also survived by a nephew, 
Michael (Teresa Pence) Rayburn of Lexington, KY, and Joni Rayburn of Denver, 
CO, and a great-niece, Ashley Pence. He also loved his four-legged kids, 
Ginger, Annie and Toby. Darrell was a 1967 graduate of Miami East High School. 
He attended Lena Baptist Church and he served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired 
from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, where he worked as a civil service 
supervisor of entomology. He was also engaged in farming. Darrell will be 
remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. in the 
Suber-Shively Funeral Home, 201 W. Main Street, Fletcher, Ohio, with Reverend 
Ed Sollenberger of the Lena Baptist Church presiding. Burial will follow in 
Fletcher Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, 
March 28, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial 
contributions in Darrell’s name may be made to Hospice of Miami County, P.O. 
Box 502, Troy, Ohio, or the American Cancer Association, Southwest Regional 
Office, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
