Cynthia Rizzutti, 75, of Urbana died Thursday, September 20, 2012, in the 
Springfield Regional Medical Center, Springfield, OH. She was born November 
30, 1936, in Urbana, a daughter of Paul and Elizabeth (Kelley) Strapp.
Cynthia was a graduate of St. Mary Catholic High School. She was a member of 
St. Mary Catholic Church, Western Ohio Chapter of Multiple Sclerosis Society, 
and St. Mary Women’s Sodality. She worked at the Dairy Queen, Dianna Shoppe 
and W. B. Marvin Co. She successfully lived with multiple sclerosis for 42 
years and was a friend to all.
Survivors include her children Chris (Margie) Rizzutti of Pasadena, MD, Mark 
Rizzutti of Columbus, Anne (Herb Grant) Gieser of Columbus, Joan (Mo) 
Mossbarger of Urbana; a very special caregiver and friend for 30 years, Sharon 
Eaton of Urbana; grandchildren Emma & Ethan Rizzutti, Stuart & Doug Gieser, 
Elizabeth & Kyle Mossbarger; sisters Catherine (Thomas) McIntire of Rockford, 
IL, Nancy Strapp of Cincinnati, brothers Robert M. (Kathy) Strapp of Urbana 
and Joseph (Myrna) Strapp of Los Angeles, CA and numerous nieces, nephews and 
cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carolyn Strapp and brothers 
John Strapp and Tom Strapp.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 and 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. on 
Sunday, September 23, 2012, in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main 
Street, Urbana. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, 
September 24, 2012, in the St. Mary Catholic Church, 231 Washington Ave., 
Urbana, OH with Father Greg Konerman celebrant. Burial will follow in Oak Dale 
Cemetery, Urbana.
