She was born May 12, 1942 in Greenfield, OH the daughter of Glendon and Lenora Cable. Glenda retired in 1997 from Wright Patterson Air Force Base. She attended First Baptist Church in Urbana and was very active and strong in her faith. Glenda was a supporter of the Republican Party and was a very passionate anti-wind turbine advocate. She enjoyed photography. Her sense of humor and quick wit was enjoyed by many in the community. Her greatest love was children. Glenda was a guardian angel to the many children she took care of, and became an adoptive grandparent to them all. She was known to many as ‘Doo-Da’. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Samuel Rodriguez; brother-in- law, Robert de Roziere; nieces & nephews, Suzanne Morman, Glen Roger de Roziere, Robert de Roziere and Phillip de Roziere; as well as many close friends. Also, she was adopted into the Crabill–Hiltibran and Denkewalter Families. Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Norma de Roziere and her niece, Olivia de Roziere. A gathering of family & friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Brian Wonn officiating. Inurnment will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana.
