He was born Sept. 19, 1932, in Champaign County, the son of the late Herman and Faye (Licklider) Rose. He married Marcella Baker on April 25, 1954, and they were married for 41 years. He is survived by his children, Cindy (Terry) Tilton of Lena, Debbie (Jeff) Roeth of Troy, Jeffrey Floyd Rose of Centerville and Susie Fessler of Piqua; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Donald (Evelyn) Rose of Conover; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Charlotte Disch of Zephyrhills, Fla. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Michael who passed away Oct. 20, 1988; a twin brother, Lloyd Rose; and two sisters, Dorothy Bowers and Margaret Stutz. Floyd graduated from Rosewood High School in 1951 . He worked at Navistar for 30 years. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, St. Paris and attended the First Baptist Church in Zephyrills, Fla. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
