The Urbana Daily Citizen-abstract
Rebecca Runkle, 77, of Urbana, died at 9:39 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 
in Springfield Regional Medical Center.
She was born on May 4, 1935 in Malakoff, TX, the daughter of Jesus Maria 
Benavides and Florencia DeLuna. She was a graduate of Urbana High School, a 
member of First Baptist Church in Urbana and retired from Grimes Manufacturing 
where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Florencio, Joel and 
Ezekeuel, and sisters, Ester, Abigail and Raquel.
Family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 
2013 in WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, where a service 
will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Brian Wonn officiating. Burial will follow 
in Oak Dale Cemetery.
