abstract
Norman Runkle, 60, died Monday in the Champaign County Nursing Home.
Born on Jan. 11, 1916, he was the son of Flora Jenks Runkle Steelman and the 
late Glen Runkle.
Surviving are his wife, Phyliss Buck, who he married in 1942; two brothers, 
Richard and Rodrick of San Gabriel Calif;two sisters Mrs. Alonzo Clem(Harriet) 
and Mrs Ray Woodward(Helen) of Elkton, Mich.
Mr. Runkle was a self-employed painter and was a former choir director at the 
United Methodist Church in St. Paris
Services will be conducted Richeson-Wickham & Atkins Funeral home by Rev. 
Marvin Dowson,  Burial will follow in Spring Grove.
