The Piqua Daily Call abstract
Russell A. Rush, 77, of Piqua and formerly of St. Paris and Dayton passed away 
at 12:55 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2005, in Heartland of Piqua Nursing Home after 
several years of failing health. 

He was born March 28, 1928, in Champaign County, the son of the late Raleigh 
Alva and Myrtie (Lukens) Rush. He never married. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Harry, Howard and 
Ralph Rush; and one sister, Evelyn Stapleton. 

Russell was a former employee of Val Decker Packing Co. in Piqua and Orr Felt 
Co. of Piqua. 

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Upper Honey 
Creek Cemetery, South Elm Tree Road, St. Paris with the Rev. Mike Parr of the 
Myrtle Tree Baptist Church, St. Paris, presiding
