The Piqua Daily Call abstract
Alberta M. Schott, 81, of Piqua, died on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2002 at 7:15 p.m. 
in the Heartland of Piqua Nursing Home. She was born in Piqua on March 28, 
1921 to the late Arthur and Grace Orput Mowrer. She married George Schott in 
Piqua in 1966; he preceded her in death in 1967. She was preceded in death by 
a brother, Kenneth Mowrer. Mrs. Schott was a homemaker all of her life. She 
had worked at the Wyandotte Toy Factory of Piqua, the Orr Felt Blanket 
Company, and was a housekeeper for Dr. William and Miriam Wise. She also had 
been a childcare provider for 30 years. A funeral service will be conducted at 
11:00 a.m. Monday in the Jamieson & Yannucci Funeral Home with Rev. Frank E. 
Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Honey Creek Cemetery, Christiansburg.
