SHAFFER, Robert Lee 61, of Springfield, went to be with the Lord on January 7, 
2011. He was preceded in death by his parents; George David and Patricia Ann 
Palmer, one brother; David Allen Palmer and a sister; Virginia West. He is 
survived by his wife; Kim E. Berry Shaffer, four sons; David Lee Shaffer, 
Robbie Lee Shaffer, Brian Daniel (Kristen) Blake and Mackey (Renee) Shaffer, a 
daughter; Sonja Marie Willoughby, one brother; Donald D. Shaffer and sisters; 
Jean Blosser, Janet Vest, Sara Palmer, Helen Stringfellow and Pamela Palmer 
Kellas, nieces and nephews; Jerry Lee Blosser, Patrick Blosser, Mandy Blosser, 
Brad Hobart and Patricia Nicole Kellas, Donnie Shaffer and several others. Lee 
will be sadly missed by his loving grandchildren; Hailey Lee Ann, Laura Lye 
Suellen, and Billy Willoughby, Maybelle Annie Nicole Kellas, Jayden William 
Burns, Baily Michelle Blake, Michael Christopher Kellas Davis and Payten 
Michael Shaffer. Lee has been the owner of Northside Appliance for 20 plus 
years. He was a member of the Union Club and a friend to this community. 
Visitation will be held from 2:30PM until 7:30PM Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-
ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 7:30PM Thursday. 
Private interment services will be held in Terre Haute Cemetery
