Funeral Home
SHAFFER, Ruth L. 75, of Enon, died Friday morning, March 2, 2012 in her 
residence. She was born in Walker, West Virginia on April 26, 1936, the 
daughter of the late Leslie Lee and Alice C. (Peters) Snyder. Ruth is survived 
by three children, Cynthia Timberman of Colorado, Jim Shaffer (Lori) of Enon, 
and Christi (Bill) McGuire of Enon; daughter-in-law, Sherry Timberman of 
Maine; a sister, Kitty (Butch) Wade of Springfield; twelve grandchildren; 
eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded 
in death by her husband, Lawrence Shaffer in 1980 and a son, William Glenn 
Timberman Jr. in 2011. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 
p.m. Monday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Ruth's funeral service will 
be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Craig Grammer 
officiating. Burial will be in Terre Haute Cemetery.
