Funeral Home-abstract
Bruce Allan Shaw, 36, of Urbana, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2006 as a 
result of a motorcycle accident in Brown County, Ohio. 

He was born Feb. 18, 1970 in Piqua the son of William James Shaw and Ruth Ann 
(Basye) Ramey. 
Bruce was employed as a machinist for the past nine years at Honeywell. 
He was a member of the Moose #1215 in Urbana. 

He enjoyed being outdoors and nature. He loved to fish, ride his motorcycle 
and listen to sounds of birds. He could mimic the sounds of all kinds of 
birds. He was an avid collector of many things. 

Bruce was a kind and caring person who never met a stranger. He will be sadly 
and deeply missed by his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Simon & Mabel 
Maggert; his maternal grandfather, Elmer L. Basye; and his paternal 
grandmother, June R. Shaw. 

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 
25, 2006 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 in the 
funeral home with the Rev. Jesse Walters officiating. 

Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery, Urbana
