SHOPSHIRE, Harold Thomas "Tom" 70, of Urbana passed away Wednesday, June 1, 
2011 in Vancrest Health Care Center of Urbana. He was born March 31, 1941 in 
Columbus, the son of Harold Raymond and Mary Josephine (Lee) Shopshire. He is 
survived by his sons, Tom Jr. (Kathy) Shopshire of Columbus, OH, Jim Shopshire 
of Grove City, OH step daughter, Rose Marie Fields of Arlington, VA; step son, 
Tim Lohnes; sisters, Connie Glassburn of Columbus, OH, Shirley (Roger) Terry 
of Urbana, OH; brother, Larry (Bonnie) Shopshire of New Carlisle, OH; 1 
granddaughter, 4 step grandchildren and numerous nieces & nephews. He is 
preceded in death by his parents and wife, Kay. A gathering of family and 
friends will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 6, 2011 in the 
VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on 
Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Tom Amlin officiating. Burial will 
follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
