He was born in Bellefontaine, a son of the late Guy and Anne Swartz Skinner. He was a longtime resident of Englewood. A World War II veteran, he earned his electrical engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati and worked several years at Aero Products in Vandalia and later retired from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in 1980. As an active member of Concord United Methodist Church, he served for many years as church treasurer and on various committees and boards. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, daughter, sons,The Rev. Dr. Tom Rand conducted a funeral today at the Concord United Methodist Church in Englewood. Interment was in Concord Church Cemetery.
