The Urbana Daily Citizen abstract
Fred F. Sloan, 71, of Saint Paris, Ohio, passed away at 10:50 a.m. on 
Wednesday, June 14, 2006, in his home. 

He was born April 6, 1935, in Miami County to the late George and Leona 
(Molly) Sloan. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Bill and 
George Sloan, and sister Emma Jean Gilmore. Fred worked for Hobart Brothers, 
Hobart Cabinet, and was the owner of Sloan's Auto Parts. He also delivered 
papers for the Urbana Daily Citizen. He was a former member of Honey Creek 
Baptist Church and a current member of the Champaign County Antique Power 
Association. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2006, 
at the Christian Worship Center, 3537 S. Elm Tree Road, Saint Paris, Ohio, 
with Rev. Jim Fannin presiding. Burial will follow in Upper Honey Creek 
Cemetery.
