Vella L. (Longstreath) Spellman, 57, of Dayton, died at 12:35 a.m. Wednesday, 
Nov. 24, 2004, at Hospice of Dayton.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday at First Church of God in St. 
Paris, with the Rev. Richard Keeran officiating. Burial will follow at 
Evergreen Cemetery in St. Paris. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to noon 
Monday at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Melcher-Sowers Funeral 
Home in Piqua.
Memorial contributions may be made to Melcher-Sowers Funeral Home to help 
defray the funeral expenses. Condolences to the family may be expressed to
