The Urbana Daily Citizen
Robert Keith "Bob" Spriggs 55 of Urbana, passed away Thursday, September 20, 
2007 in Mercy Memorial Hospital Urbana.  He was born June 19, 1952 in Urbana, 
Ohio the son of the late William Spriggs & Phyllis (Davis) Gibson.



Bob loved to fish, play the lottery and shoot pool.   He also, enjoyed 
collecting coins and cards of all sports.

He is survived by his mother, Phyllis (William) Gibson of Urbana, his companion 
of 14 years, Patty Kuhn, his daughters, Anna (Max) Strong of Lakeview and April 
Spriggs of Bellefontaine & 3 grandchildren; his brothers, Freddie Spriggs, 
Rodney Spriggs of Pique, Rick Spriggs of Chillicothe & Darrell Lee (Alice) 
Spriggs of Piketon; his sisters, Sandy Mattox (Tony Fraley) of Urbana, Clarissa 
(Myron) Feather of Urbana & Kristi (Phillip) Winston of Springfield, numerous 
nieces & nephews of several generations.



Bob is preceded in death by his father, William Spriggs, his granddaughter and 
a brother, Billy.



Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in 
the Vernon Funeral Home with the Rev. George W. Riddell IV and Rev. Ray 
Kaffenbarger officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to 
the funeral service.
