The Urbana Daily Citizen abstract
Vivian G. Stabler, 81, of 327 Breezy Bay Drive, Gilbert, South Carolina, 
formerly of Quincy, Ohio, died at 3:20 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001 at 
Lexington Medical Center, West Columbia, South Carolina. She was born on March 
18, 1920 in Quincy, Ohio, the daughter of William J. and Lillian J. Crumby 
Douglas. She was a 1937 graduate of Quincy High School, was active with the 
Farm Bureau Association and the Election Board and was a homemaker. She 
married Junius V. Stabler on Jan. 27, 1938 in Georgetown, Kentucy and he 
preceded her in death on Jan. 26, 1999. She is survived by a son five 
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a 
daughter, Teresa Thornton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 
on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001 from 6 to 8 p.m. A service will be held at 1:30 p.m. 
on Monday, Aug. 6, 2001 at the REXER-RIGGIN-MADDEN FUNERAL HOME, DeGraff, with 
Chaplain Philip Chilcote officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Cemetery, 
Carysville, Ohio....
