The Urbana Daily Citizen abstract
Barbara Ann Stapleton, age 69, of Urbana and formerly of St. Paris, passed 
away on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, at 10:55 a.m. in Heartland of Urbana Nursing 
Home. She was born on Feb. 14, 1937, in Miami County, Ohio, the daughter of 
the late Daniel J. and Alberta E. (Hesselgesser) Beck. She married Earl 
Stapleton and he preceded her in death. In addition to her husband and 
parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Stapleton; a brother Roger 
Beck; sisters Thelma Schroth and Mary Boyd; and brothers-in law, Melvin 
Harvey, Milfred Maddy, Raymond Schroth and Albert Boyd. Barbara was formerly 
employed by Atlas Underwear Corporation. Funeral services will be held on 
Friday, Oct. 20, 2006 at 11 a.m. in the ATKINS-SHIVELY FUNERAL HOME, 216 S. 
Springfield Street, St. Paris, Ohio with her brother, Ron Beck presiding. 
Burial will follow in Upper Honey Creek Cemetery, S. Elm Tree Road, St. Paris
