The Urbana Daily Citizen
Ralph W. Stevens 79, of Urbana, died at 4:15 A.M. Sunday March 18, 2012 in 
Mercy Memorial Hospital, Urbana. He was born in Clark County, OH on November 
28, 1932, a son of Waldo and Frieda (Ballantine) Stevens.
Ralph worked for the stockyards in Urbana and Springfield until they closed 
and he also farmed.
Survivors include sisters Bonnie Burkhart and her husband, John P. of Urbana, 
Nancy Myers of Glouster, Virginia, Patricia Hite and her husband Charles of 
London; brothers, Roger Stevens of Urbana, and Roy Stevens and his wife 
Alberta of North Hampton, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00 
P.M. in the WALTER & SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 642 S. Main St., Urbana, Oh., where 
the funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 20, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. 
with Rev. Paul Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Terre Haute Cemetery.
