STEVENS, Sarah R. 47, of Urbana, beloved daughter of Daniel and Edna (Ware) 
Stevens, passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her parents' home Wednesday 
morning, January 6, 2010 following a brief illness. She was born in 
Springfield on October 11, 1962. Sarah was a 1981 graduate of Graham High 
School. She was co-owner of Stevens Bakery and Orchard and previously worked 
at Siemens in Urbana for 16 years. She was a member of Terre Haute United 
Methodist Church. Survivors in addition to her parents of Terre Haute include 
life partner, Julie Kampman; a sister, Cynthia Pearson of Huntsville, Alabama; 
and two brothers and sister-in-law, Chris and Sharon Stevens and David 
Stevens, all of Terre Haute. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Renee 
Stevens, Dannet Pearson, Brian (Nicki) Stevens, Stacey Stevens, Amy (Scott) 
Gentis, Tiffany Macy, and Bradley Stevens; and great nieces and great nephews, 
Essence Pearson, Zavion Pearson, Jacob, Olivia, Ryan and Grace Stevens, 
Abigail Gentis, Ethan, Corrine, Chloe, and Conner. She was preceded in death 
by her grandparents, Harold and Josephine Stevens and Ruth Byers. A gathering 
of family and friends will be held from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Saturday in the 
LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME. Sarah's funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. 
with Pastor Frank Kampel officiating. Burial will be in Terre Haute Cemetery
