She was born on October 13, 1923, in Rosewood, Ohio, the daughter of the late Christian and Ida (Bodey) Geuy. On October 29,1943, she married George W. Stoker who preceded her in death on August 22,1998. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Barbara Geuy of Sidney, along with her children, Robert Geuy and his wife Joni of Sidney and Julie Young and her husband Evan of Greenville, MI. Also surviving is a special friend, Ruth Ann Wyer and several other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert L. Geuy and a sister, Lucille Allen. Mary was co-owner and helped operated the Stoker Grocery in Tawawa with her husband for more than 30 years. She was a member of the Greenview United Church of Christ in Plattsville. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday June 2, 2009, at 1 p.m. from the Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S.Main Ave., with the Rev. Philip K. Chilcote officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Point Cemetery in Pasco. Friends may call on Tuesday at the funeral home from noon until the hour of the service. The family suggests memorials be made to Wilson Memorial Hospice in Mary Ruth Stoker's memory.
