STOKES Harrison William, 86, died Tuesday August 21, 2007, in the Ohio State 
University Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born April 9, 1921 in 
Urbana, OH, a son of the late Oro K. and Freida (Rensch) Stokes. He was a 
United States Army veteran of WWII serving with the Military Police in the 
ETO, receiving four Bronze Stars. Harrison was married in 1947 to Lula Mae 
Yoder who preceded him in death in 1974. He retired as an accountant in the 
financial department of C.E. Bauer in 1983. Survivors include; daughter, Janet 
Lynn (Brodrick) Smith and grandson Nicholas of Kettering, OH; sister-in-law, 
Betty Yoder; niece, Susan Ann (Luwellyn) Pyles and a host of family and 
friends.

Family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday August 24, 2007 in the 
JACKSON LYTLE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME, N. Limestone; where funeral service will 
be held 10:00am Saturday with Pastor Thomas Prochaska officiating. Burial will 
follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana, OH.
