Florence "Becky" L. Stonerock, 79, of Urbana and formerly of Rosewood, passed 
away at 6:20 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2007.
Becky was born on May 3, 1928, in Rosewood, the daughter of the late Reuel and 
Hazel

(Zerkle) Buck. She married James Dale Stonerock on Sept. 2, 1950, and he 
preceded her in death on Nov. 7, 1999. Together, they raised three children 
who survive, Brett (Sonya) Stonerock of St. Paris, Cynthia "Cindy" Stonerock 
of Urbana and Susan Stonerock of Urbana. She was also a loving grandmother to 
three grandchildren, Bryan (Sharon) Stonerock of London, Jamie Stonerock of 
Dayton and Holly George of Urbana. She was the proud great-grandmother to 
Abigail, Sarah and Nathan all of London. Becky also is survived by one sister, 
Roberta (Raymond) Magato of Quincy and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, two brothers preceded her in 
death, Carroll and Robert Buck.
Becky was a member of the Myrtle Tree Baptist Church, St. Paris. She graduated 
in 1946 from Rosewood High School. In 1990, she retired from Drackett in 
Urbana. For 30 years she was a self-employed beautician in Rosewood, and more 
recently she worked at Wal-Mart in Urbana. She was a member of Chapter 530 
Order of Eastern Star, Urbana, and attended New Moorefield United Methodist 
Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Myrtle Tree Baptist 
Church, 7020 W. U.S. Route 36, St. Paris, with Pastors Floyd Dallas and Buddie 
Turtle presiding. Burial will follow in Rosedale Cemetery, North State Route 
235, Conover.
