Katherine L. Storer, 90, of Troy, Ohio died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009, at 11:49 
p.m. in Covington Care Center, Covington, Ohio.

She was born March 4, 1919 in Dayton, OH to Alva and Lyons Corda (Knisley) 
Lyons, both deceased. Her husband was Howard C. Storer, who died Nov. 30, 
2008. 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her 
brother, Austin Lyons of Medway.

Member of the Union Baptist Church, Troy Grandmother's Club, Farmers Garden 
Club, and the Extension Club of St. Paris. She was active in teaching 
children's classes, doing craft things, and craft shows. She also volunteered 
at Brukner Nature Center and Carriage Hill Farm.

Formerly employed with Wright Patterson Air Force Base.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2009, with Rev. Dale 
Adkins at Honeycreek Cemetery, Christiansburg.
