Samuel Strong, 54, died of an apparent heart attack while in the office of Dr. 
Joseph Fergus Friday.  He was an assembler at the Grimes Manufacturing Co., 
Urbana.
He was born in Springfield, June 21, 1918, a son of Samuel and Sarah Dellinger 
Strong.  Mr. Strong was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church here and was 
veteran of World War II.
He was married, March 14, 1947, to Joan Jordan who survives.
Services will be conducted in the Baker Funeral Home by Rev. Luther 
Buchholtz.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery
