He was born on October 22, 1941, to Truman C. and Madge (Offenbacker) Taylor. He's a 1960 graduate of Urbana High School and served our country in the United States Army and Ohio Army National Guard. Worked for International Harvester for 32 years and was very active in the U.A.W. Local 402 until retirement. He was a member of First United Church of Christ in Springfield. He played music locally and on the road as a saxophone and keyboardist for 57 years. "Breeze" (as he was affectionately known) was preceded in death by parents.
