The Urbana Daily Citizen-abstract
Charles William “Cool Breeze” Taylor, died in Mercy Memorial Hospital of 
Urbana on Nov. 22 2012 He was born October 22, 1941 to Truman C. and Madge 
(Offenbacker) Taylor. He’s a 1960 graduate of Urbana High School. He served in 
the U.S. Army and O.A.N.G. with an Honorable Discharge.
He worked for I.H.C.-Navistar for 32 years and was very active in the U.A.W. 
Local 402 until retirement. He was a member of First United Church of Christ. 
He played music locally and on the road as a saxophone and keyboardist for 57 
years. “Breeze” (as he was affectionately known) was preceded in death by 
parents Truman and Madge Taylor. He leaves behind four children: A gathering 
of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. 
in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where services will be held on Thursday 
at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Paris, Ohio.
