He’s a 1960 graduate of Urbana High School. He served in the U.S. Army and O.A.N.G. with an Honorable Discharge. He worked for I.H.C.-Navistar for 32 years and was very active in the U.A.W. Local 402 until retirement. He was a member of First United Church of Christ. He played music locally and on the road as a saxophone and keyboardist for 57 years. “Breeze” (as he was affectionately known) was preceded in death by parents Truman and Madge Taylor. He leaves behind four children: A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Paris, Ohio.
