Mrs. Clara Thornton, 78, died today in Piqua Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Lawrence county, Aug. 7, 1891, the daughter of George and Mary 
Ellen Payne Dement and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in that county.
Her husband, Clifton E Thornton, preceded her in death.
Services will be conducted Friday in the Richeson-Wickham Funeral Home by the 
Rev. Harry Manning and the Rev. John Williams.  Burial will be in Evergreen 
Cemetery
