The Urbana Daily News-abstract
Harry C Turnmire, 90 , of Urbana, went to be with the Lord on Sunday June 15, 
2003 in the McAuley Center, Urbana. He was born May 30, 1913 in Champaign 
County to Charles and Grace (Chester) Turnmire. He was preceded in death by 
his parents, in infant sister, son Gary, sister Ida Evilsizor, daughter Linda 
and grandson Jamie Dunlap. He is survived  Harry also had 23 grandchildren, 20 
great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews . Harry was dedicated 
worker. He retired from Wickham Piano Plate Company in Springfield and was 
also a farmer for many years. He was a avid fisherman also. Graveside Services 
will be he ld on Wednesday June 18, 2003 at 10:30 in the Concord Cemetery, 
Urbana. where he will be laid to rest next to his mother and infant sister.
